This is a lovely BeVo style machine embroidered Wehrmachtadler breast eagle from a German WWII Heer (Army) Enlisted Man's or NCO's M36 Wool Tunic. The eagle is the rarer 1939 pattern, with a flaschengrn (dark bottle green) background and gray thread embroidered eagle. In 1940 the background color would change to a lighter green. These were worn on the breast of the uniform tunic, just above and partly on the pocket.
